Who we are
CC Car & Commercial ("we", "us") is a vehicle body repair workshop at Bracken Hill, Wakefield Road, Ackworth, Pontefract WF7 7AZ, and is responsible for this website.
CC Car & Commercial is a trading name of Mark Ackroyd, sole trader. Mark is the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law.

What this website collects
The website doesn't ask for your name, number or email. There are no forms, no accounts and no sign-ups.
When you tap Call or Text, your own phone makes the call or opens your messages. The website never sees your number or what you say. The call or text comes straight to Mark's or Karan's mobile.
When you ring, text or email us
We use your number or email address and what you tell us to talk to you about your vehicle, give you a quote and do the job. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for marketing. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us and expect a reply.
We keep your details only as long as we need them for your job and any questions about it afterwards.
Who else sees anything
Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it receives technical information about each visit (such as your IP address and browser) in order to deliver the page. Vercel is based in the United States, so this may be processed outside the UK; it is covered by the safeguards in Vercel's data processing terms.
Links to Facebook and Google Maps take you to those sites, where their own privacy notices apply.
Website statistics
We count how the site is used: pages viewed, which device, roughly which country, where visitors arrived from, how far down the page they get, and which buttons they tap to get in touch. Vercel Web Analytics does this without cookies and without using your browser's storage. The figures are totals: they can't identify you, and we can't follow you to another website.
If you'd rather not be counted at all, most content blockers stop it.

This website does not set cookies and does not use your browser's storage.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we're using it. Ring or text Mark, email him, or write to us, and we'll respond within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If this notice changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
